3x 'Nannas China' Vintage Royal Doulton Pompadour teacup duos in BROOKSIDE CENTRE, Queensland for sale
Three of Nanna's vintage 1940s fine bone china teacup duos are on the marke just in time for Christmast! Includes bonus 2 free spare saucers...maybe you could complete a set of six with individual items on Australialisted (they come up every now and then) or mix and match these 3 duos with another 3 for a mix n match shabby chic tea set.
Design
Featuring gorgeous yellow feature stripe around the edge of scalloped edging, the design features a central floral motif in yellow, royal blue, mint green, pale pink and plum. Around the floral centrepiece design is a lovely abstract trim in a dark plumy brown. While old the patern is still very relevant now in a contemporary setting. It is feminine without being too fussy and overly girly. It really is an absolutely gorgeous setting and if I didn't already have 5 dinner sets and no more room in my kitchen, I would totally be keeping this beauty.

All pieces are in very good vintage condition with no cracks, chips or crazing or pattern colour damage.
Value
This set is very valuable, with antique appraisers pricing side plates at $20 each. Also important to note is that fine bone china is not a very big industry in England any more with production moving to India and China, so English fine bone china is going to become very rare and valuable.
