Unfortunately this camera suffers from Error 99 syndrome, which makes it very temperamental.
Apparently this is quite a common fault in these cameras. I?ve done a few of the simple fixes I found on the many forums devoted to the subject. I tried cleaning the contacts with an eraser, taking battery and card out. Sometimes helps, but only temporarily. There is a lot of other fixes, but I either lack the knowledge or $$$ to try them. And to be honest, I?m over this camera, never came to grips with it.
In good condition (excepting above). Takes great photos when it feels like it.
