ANTIQUE HUON PINE DRESSING TABLE WITH MIRROR EXQUISITE CARVING in BROOKSIDE CENTRE, Queensland for sale

It would be hard to find a more lovely dressing table than this one which was constructed using valuable huon pine from Tasmania. This dressing table ticks every box and more. I bought it in its original condition some years ago now. The previous owner, an antique dealer in Melbourne, had the drawers done so that they would slide well and had given it a professional wax.
The 2 little jewellery drawers have the sought after "birds eye" markings.
The dressing table is a practical one with 3 lovely deep drawers. The drawers slide easily. It has sweet little bun feet. Its in excellent condition, sturdy and solid. It would be such a wonderful gift to anyone, but especially a young girl, who could learn to appreciate really fine furniture. The mirror is good and it moves.
The corners are rounded and the edges bevelled, especially the jewellery drawers. This is an elegant, fine piece that has been constructed and carved by an expert long ago. We think that its a treasure.
